  Masterclass

Coming soon!

For students coming to the end of their media and journalism courses who really want to know what working in radio is all about and how to get in.

For students of the Intermediate class who feel that want to move on.

For people with regular shows on smaller radio stations who want to improve their chances of getting a full time show on a bigger station.

There will be a heavier emphasis on presenting as well as prepping shows, interviewing technique and applying for jobs.

We'll work on putting a specialist show together, as well as researching this type of show. This is particularly good for people who prefer the producing side of radio.

We'll spend a lot of time talking about demo's. You need a demo to apply for any on-air job in radio - but what needs to go on it? What stays in? What needs to be taken out? Are there different types of demo's for different types of radio stations and shows? What do Programme Directors listen for in a demo?

All will be revealed.
